Royal Jordanian airlines resumed its flights to Iraq today after suspending for 1 day due to security turmoil.

The company said in a press release that the flights between Amman and Baghdad have been resumed from today as usual. In addition, flights between Erbil and Basra have been resumed.

The company expected to operate the airline to Iraqi Sulaymaniyah soon. Royal Jordanian launches flights to 5 Iraqi cities with about 11 flights a week to Baghdad, 9 to Erbil, 4 to Basra, 4 to Sulaymaniyah and 2 to Mosul which have been suspended since last June 10.
